Brick House

This brick house is situated next to the Chalong temple within its premises. People believe in offering fire-crackers as a mark of respect to the monks and these crackers are burst within this small house to avoid any accidental injuries.

Chalong temple in Thailand

The Thailand pictures were taken on my recent trip to Phuket wherein we visited the Chalong temple, which is a Buddhist temple. We did see life size statues of three holy monks carefully being taken care off by the local folk, over the years. Apparently the monks helped the local people fight the invading Chinese army.
